The item that turned me away was interior quality, ride comfort, general drive aesthetics, cabin "comfort" (isolation from NVH), and so on. The price of the car was attractive too, so great combo. I also liked other technological aspects such as unlocking the car with a key card (if you select the right trim). It wasn't a surprise it would be good with Openpilot. The stock HDA (or whatever it's called) was better than most other OEMs in terms of steering torque applied on a turn and smoothness. I did extensive research into it and wanted to buy one.
